As we all know, the best way to discover a destination is to meet its inhabitants. Greeters are therefore volunteers who, according to their desires, share their surroundings with you. The meeting will take the form of an informal chat over a coffee or a stroll, during which the greeters will reveal how they live and love their corner of Normandy.
Greeters are volunteers who present themselves as a friendly face to the visitor(s), welcoming individuals and groups of up to 6 people.
Meeting a Greeter is entirely free of charge, and Greeters welcome everyone, visitors and volunteers alike, without discrimination.
Greeter networks are part of a sustainable tourism approach that respects the environment and people. They contribute to the cultural and economic enrichment of local communities, and to the positive image of the destination.
Greeter networks promotemutual enrichment and cultural exchange between individuals for a better world.
