Located in the Brotonne loop at Notre-Dame-de-Bliquetuit, the Maison du Parc houses both the administrative headquarters of the Regional Nature Park and a reception area designed to provide information on its missions, as well as on the region's rich heritage, events and tourist activities.
At the heart of the Parc naturel régional des Boucles de la Seine Normande, the Maison du Parc welcomes you to a typical former farmhouse, including a 16th-century manor house, a bread oven, a barn, a dovecote, a carriage house, a wine press and an apple orchard. This remarkable heritage site, set in 5 hectares open to the public, invites you to discover and relax.
Take a stroll along the "farm and orchard" trail, where you can observe the various emblematic elements of the site and enjoy a true voyage to the heart of Normandy?s heritage. In the former wine press, the Ethnothèque, museum of the Boucles de la Seine Normande, presents the permanent exhibition "La pomme normande, quelle histoire!", highlighting the cultural and agricultural wealth of the region.
And to complete the visit, let yourself be surprised by the peaceful presence of the Highland cows. These hardy Scottish cows, true allies in the ecological management of wetlands, add a lively, authentic touch to this unique setting.
The Maison du Parc is also the starting point for a beautiful hike (circuit n°16 Le Bliquetuit - 11.5 km - 3h). Numerous picnic tables and toilets make this a pleasant stopover. A bike repair kit and a plug for recharging the batteries of electric-assist bikes are available at reception.
The site offers a range of services, including rental of adult, children's and electric-assist bicycles for half-day, full-day or even multi-day hire.
Enjoy a moment of relaxation after your ride with the refreshment bar, offering coffee, tea and local refreshments. The refreshment bar is available during opening hours.
Located directly on the La Seine à Vélo itinerary, the Maison du Parc provides cyclotourists and hikers with an eco-bivouac area, a practical and safe place to spend the night. The site features two wooden platforms where you can pitch your tent away from the damp, place your luggage or park your bike, as well as a functional area for drying your laundry and organizing your belongings after a day on the road.
A convivial corner with log seating and a brazier has also been set up, an ideal setting for sharing a warm moment and enjoying an evening in the heart of nature.
Please note: Only the reception area in the manor house is open to the public. The buildings are for professional use only. They are not accessible to the public. Thank you for your understanding.
