Valasse Abbey History and modernity meet in this emblematic location

The abbey was inhabited by monks until the French Revolution, when it was converted into a middle-class chateau-style residence, which it retains to this day.

Since the early 2010s, the abbey has been the venue for corporate seminars of all sizes. The lounges can accommodate from 6 to 250 people, with excellent conditions of comfort and equipment. With touch screens, fiber optics, sound systems and the latest video projectors, nothing is left to chance. The quality of the welcome and the immediate proximity of parking spaces are also hailed as strong assets of the Abbaye du Valasse.

Catering solutions are available. For smaller seminars, catering can be provided at La Laiterie, the abbey’s convivial space, or by a caterer. Either way, you’ll enjoy your meal under the 12th-century Cistercian vaults. Cocktail dinners and lunches are also available, and are ideal for seminars that prefer to limit the length of the meal break.

The same applies to the wide range ofincentive activities on offer. Whether indoors or outdoors, sporting or cultural, challenging, thought-provoking, relaxing or meditative, the park of the Abbaye du Valasse and its 60 hectares of greenery become a veritable playground where a multitude of activities can be organized to invigorate and strengthen the team spirit within your company.

La Grande Halle

For XXL events, up to 2,000 people, the 2,000 m² Grande Halle is sure to please. Sheltered by an immense glass roof overlooking the park and its two-hundred-year-old trees, it is possible to organize receptions, trade shows, public fairs and very large seminars, all in exceptional comfort. On the upper floor, as if suspended in space, there are areas that can be dedicated to organizing juries, commissions, storage, or transformed into dressing rooms, as the Grande Halle can also host shows.

Managed since 2013 by Caux Seine Normandie tourisme, Abbaye du Valasse also offers space for budding young businesses, with a warm and welcoming coworking space and modern, functional rental offices.
