You’re about to discover three must-do trails to explore in the Caux Seine region.

1. Jumièges, Seine and Brotonne Forest (8.7 km)

Take this trail and let it guide you between the wetlands and orchards of Jumièges to the forêt de Brotonne. This walk offers you a breathtaking view of the Seine Valley landscape, while also providing plenty of opportunities for birdwatching. Thanks to the proximity of the forests, you can spot many birds of prey, including the peregrine falcon that flies over the cliffs of the Brotonne forest. A magical moment for nature lovers and birdwatchers.

2. Heurteauville peat bog (4.6 km)

Listed as a Natura 2000 zone and ZNIEFF, the Heurteauville peat bog is a remarkable 250-hectare natural site. It is home to more than 153 species of birds and offers three interpretation trails. Take advantage of an ornithological observatory equipped with free fixed binoculars to admire the birds in their natural habitat. This unspoilt site is a showcase of biodiversity, ideal for a total immersion in nature.

3. The Pilgrim's Trail (7.2 km)

At Villequier, between the Seine and wooded hillsides, this circuit is the favourite haunt of the Peregrine Falcon. This majestic bird of prey hunts between cliffs, marshes and woods, and you’ll be able to spot it particularly between January and May. The diversity of the environment, from woodland to villages rich in jackdaws and pigeons, makes this a great place for birdwatching.
