Explore the Seine differently
Crossing the Seine can be quick and easy thanks to the majestic bridges of Tancarville, Normandy or Brotonne… but you can also opt for a slow and charming version: crossing from one bank to the other by ferry. There were once seventeen ferries between Rouen and Le Havre. There are still eight of them today, including three on our territory: one at Quillebeuf-sur-Seine and two at Heurteauville. Since the 19th century, these imposing boats have been making the few-minute crossing for residents, workers and tourists. For pedestrians, cyclists or motorists, this mini journey rocked by the river, which allows you to contemplate the meanders, is one of the attractions of our country that we never tire.
