Explore the Seine differently
Crossing the Seine can be quick and easy thanks to the majestic bridges of Tancarville, Normandie or Brotonne… but you can also opt for a slow and charming version: crossing from one bank to the other by ferry. Once upon a time, there were seventeen ferries between Rouen and Le Havre. Today, there are still eight of them, including three on our territory: one at Quillebeuf-sur-Seine and two at Heurteauville. Since the 19th century, these imposing boats have been making the few-minute crossing for residents, workers and tourists alike. For pedestrians, cyclists and motorists alike, this mini-trip along the river’s meandering banks is one of our country’s most unforgettable attractions.
