Fruit Route Gourmet and cultural trail

Welcome to the Fruit Route Delicious fruit, picturesque orchards, local crafts...

Leaving from the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Park. 25 km of unbridled pleasure.

The Fruit Route starts at the Maison du Parc in Notre-Dame-de-Bliquetuit, a stone’s throw from the meandering Seine and the Brotonne forest. It passes through Heurteauville and its nature reserve on the site of an ancient peat bog.

An Unusual Adventure

Take advantage of this opportunity to take the ferry across the Seine, an original means of transport that’s sure to appeal to young and old alike!

In just a few minutes, you’ll be on the other side of the water, as we like to say in Pays de Caux.

Jumièges

Take time to stroll through Yainville, a small village with a calm and welcoming atmosphere, then Jumièges and its Abbey, “the most beautiful ruin in France” as Victor Hugo liked to say, and continue on to Mesnil-sous-Jumièges and its leisure centre. The tourist route ends in Duclair, where a new ferry will take you from one bank to the other as you wish.

Gourmet Exploration

By following the Fruit Route, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the orchards of apple, pear, cherry and other emblematic fruits of the Normandy region. You’ll be able to sample crisp apples, juicy pears, sweet cherries and many other fresh fruits direct from local producers.

The route winds through the magnificent scenery of the Seine valley, offering spectacular views of the green hills and tranquil meanders of the river. You’ll also have the opportunity to visit cider mills, distilleries and farms where you can learn more about local fruit growing and production methods.

The Fruit Route is not only a taste experience, but also an immersion in the culture and heritage of Normandy. Whether you’re a lover of fresh fruit, picturesque landscapes or local traditions, this route promises an enriching adventure in the heart of the Normandy countryside.
