Awakening Ecosystem
You’re sure to come across Camargue horses and, with a little more luck, a bloody cricket, a spotted salamander or a palmed newt. The fauna here is rich and so is the flora. Will you be able to recognise the marsh iris, the dysentery pulicaria or the sedge, plants that are legion in this small protected area between two rivers, the Ambion and the Sainte-Gertrude?
A landscaped path allows you to walk around the marsh. It starts at the wooden observatory. From the observatory, you can obtain a wealth of information about the site. Along the way, numbered markers will tell you more about the special features of this marsh.
Since 2021, an educational site has been set up at the northern end of the Caudebec-en-Caux marsh. This is a pond where it is easy to observe aquatic life from a platform, without disturbing the animal or plant species that live there.
