Preserved spaces

Caux Seine has two recognized sensitive natural areas. Two areas where, more than anywhere else, diving into nature requires immense respect. The flora and fauna that thrive here must be protected to ensure their long-term survival.

Immerse yourself in nature

At the Heurteauville peat bog, the 100% nature area managed by the département is a paradise for birds and insects. The area is an invitation to stroll and learn about your environment. The Bois de Villequier is a paradise for walkers and trail runners, but also for plants and animals, many of which require extra protection.
Other areas are ideal for discovering and protecting flora and fauna, even if they are not officially classified. These include the marshes that stretch along the Seine from Tancarville and the marshes you can explore at Caudebec-en-Caux.
