Ukrainian violinist and composer Aleksandr Gonobolin, accompanied by pianist Bela Bondar, takes us on a musical journey through works by Vivaldi, Handel, Veracini, Massenet, Bartók and his own compositions.

Aleksandr Gonobolin (Violin)

Violinist, composer, conductor, teacher. People?s Artist of Ukraine. Recipient of a grant from the President of Ukraine. Honorary citizen of the city of Kherson.
Studied at the Kiev Conservatory. For several years, A.Gonobolin conducted the "ARS-NOVA" chamber orchestra of the Nikolaev Regional Philharmonic Society.
Winner of 1st Prize at the National Violin Competition. Winner of international composer competitions in Germany and the USA. Gold Medal Diploma from the Société Académique Arts-Sciences-Lettres (Paris).
Author of over 400 compositions for violin, piano, cello, voice and orchestra. He has given concerts in Ukraine, France, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Holland, Spain, Israel, Georgia, Abkhazia.

Bela Bondar (piano) She is a graduate of the Odessa Higher Conservatory and the Groningen Higher Conservatory. Her repertoire includes violin, flute and vocal music.
