For the reckon, the Godène beer has a very typical Pays de Caux name since it is the old name for the milk churn that used to be pulled by donkeys in the Pays de Caux.
“We are first and foremost dairy producers, but since our activity is becoming more and more fragile, we wanted to find a new complementary activity and we came up with the idea of trying to produce beer” they told us all together adding “the Godène is light and sweet, just like us, and is produced on our farm in Bennetot.”
