Ancient performance buildings, including the Roman theater at Lillebonne, are perfect examples of the mastery of architecture in antiquity. This new exhibition invites you to explore the secrets of the builders of civil edifices, with a particular focus on the construction of the Lillebonne theater, its new ancient scaffolding, and the materials and techniques used during its various periods of construction. Research linked to recent restoration campaigns is also highlighted.
