This museum is devoted to the history of the river, through the life of its fishermen, its sailors, its shipbuilders and today s navigators. See the oldest existing traditional Seine vessel, the last gribane, called the Joble, which was launched in 1886, recalling the mascaret which the town was famous for - the steep-fronted tidal wave, or bore which moved up the river.
