Tancarville nature reserve

In addition to a feudal castle and a suspension bridge over the Seine estuary, the commune of Tancarville, situated on a chalk cliff, boasts two nature reserves.

Between History and Biodiversity

At the national nature reserve, you can take a 2h30 stroll through the flora and fauna, enjoy the panoramic view over the wet meadows and learn about the history of the site on the interpretation trail created by the Maison de l’Estuaire.

The Vallon du Vivier nature reserve, owned by the French Ministry of the Environment and managed by the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Nature Park, is remarkable for the diversity of its natural environments.
